Communication Right serves as the gateway to all other rights. This statement initiates my research as it serves as the guiding thread for everything I have set out to study here. However, given the neoliberal logic that society is immersed in, Communication has been perceived as a commodity rather than a right. In light of this context, the Atlas da Notícia research reveals that in 2023, 2,712 Brazilian municipalities don't have any local media , known as news deserts. The objective of this research is to comprehend how communication flows occur between the State and the population of Flores de Goiás municipality, located in the State of Goiás and considered a news desert.
