SUMMARY:
This research project aims to study the processes of subjectivation that exist in single-parent affective relationships, notably in the family context, based on the experiences of women with their partners, that is, those involving men and women, which is the preponderant object of this research. permeated by socially imposed hegemonic masculinities, which can negatively influence these bonds. Thus, sometimes domineering male behavior exposes mothers and daughters/sons to the most diverse situations of violence and vulnerability, forcing them to be, at the same time, solo caregivers and maintainers of their offspring, a behavior that is still accepted as normal in the current situation. of family relationships in Brazil. In order to elucidate the proposed objectives, the nature of the research will be inspired by qualitative epistemology, which proposes the interactive construction of knowledge, enabling dialogicity between researcher and researched, in which both “are active subjects in the production of thoughts and meanings” (Santos do Nascimento, 2017, p. 50). In this dialogical process, the scenarios, contexts, as well as the uniqueness and subjectivities of the subjects involved are taken into consideration. The principles of exploratory research will also be used, with a view to obtaining familiarity with the problem highlighted, through the bibliographic study of authors (s) such as Bandeira (2017), Almeida (2020), Finamori (2022), in addition books, magazines, periodical articles, among others. As a data collection instrument, conversation circles will be used with the research participants, five women, living in satellite cities on the outskirts of the Federal District, preceded by a form characterizing the participating subjects, in which we will seek to respond to the following questions: To what extent do the processes of cultural subjectivation affect the affective family relationships between women and their parents? Can the current scenario of increasing violence against women and girls be understood as a factor preventing access to human rights and citizenship, as well as the processes of becoming human in the world? Can the naturalization of culturally determined hegemonic masculinities assert itself as universal in affective and family relationships? How do women who raise their children alone see themselves (representation) as women with rights in a strongly patriarchal society? The participants involved are expected to interact actively during the course of the research. The processing and analysis of information constructed from the data collected will take place based on the content of the conversation circle, as well as the interviews carried out, taking into account age, racial diversity, social and territorial context, professional, housing conditions, educational and their experiences, in an intersectional way. With this research, we intend to observe both the subjective manifestations existing in the emotional relationships of women who raise or have raised their children alone without their partners, as well as those that involve the society in which these mothers live. At the same time, we intend to observe how subjectivities are influenced by patriarchal processes imposed by hegemonic masculinities.
