SUMMARY:

Faced with a society dependent on Science and Technology, the formation of people who can read their reality and interpret it critically and reflexively, understanding the reflexes of Science and Technology in Society, is necessary. STS Education, and more specifically the problematization of scientific and technological neutrality and its respective myths, is accompanied by its objectives of seeking a change of view of the nature of science, the developing of decision-making capacity in the scientific and technological society, and the democratization of scientific and technological knowledge in a problematized and dialogic way, at different educational levels and in different areas, are possible paths for this formation. Therefore, educational spaces for the development of STS Education are necessary, and besides traditional spaces of education, we seek to look at the educational setting of the Science Club, seen as non-formal. So, what are the possibilities of the educational setting Science Club for the development of STS Education? We seek to answer this question through qualitative bibliographic research in which we carried out a systematic review of academic works on Science Clubs, published in all ENPEC minutes. The analysis of the works took place through the stages of Discursive Textual Analysis. With the analysis, we were able to establish an overview of the research carried out with Science Clubs and categories that include the objectives, definitions, and activities carried out in Science Clubs. We also aim to carry out the stages of delimitation and improvement of the established categories, expansion of discussions regarding scientific and technological non-neutrality, the construction of relationships between the established categories and STS Education, and the design of contributions to the development of Science Clubs.
