The study is organized into four chapters: the first deals with the trajectory of social policies to combat hunger and food insecurity, from the perspective of Brazilian social policies; the second deals with the minimum wage, wages, and social reproduction, discussing wages in the Marxist tradition and the particularity of dependency theory in Brazilian social formation. The third chapter reviews the literature of the main authors of Brazilian social formation and the refunctionalization of the State that occurred in 1964, with the respective policies of the period, in which the Wage Policy stands out. The fourth chapter investigates the Wage Policy within the economic policy of the military dictatorship and its implications for the minimum wage. The fifth chapter presents the analysis of secondary data on the minimum wage and Food Security, in dialogue with the previous chapters. The sixth chapter presents the political and economic debate surrounding food and the fight against high prices in the late 1970s, as a summary of the period analyzed.

RESUMO:

Em andO estudo está organizado em quatro capítulos: o primeiro a respeito da trajetória das políticas sociais de combate à fome e insegurança alimentar, na perspectiva das políticas sociais brasileiras; o segundo a respeito do salário mínimo, salário e reprodução social, onde se discute o salário na tradição Marxista e a particularidade da teoria da dependência na formação social brasileira. O terceiro faz uma revisão de literatura dos principais autores da formação social brasileira e sobre a refuncionalização do Estado ocorrida em 1964, com as respectivas políticas do período, onde se destaca a Política Salarial. No quarto capítulo investiga-se a Política Salarial dentro da política econômica da ditadura militar e suas implicações com o salário mínimo. O quinto capítulo apresenta a análise dos dados secundários sobre o salário mínimo e Segurança Alimentar, em diálogo com os capítulos anteriores. O sexto capítulo apresenta o debate político e econômico em torna da alimentação e da luta pela carestia no final da década de 1970, como síntese do período analisado.amento
