Generations Z and Alpha, born in the digital age have a different profile from previous generations: they are immediate, anxious, and require faster responses. Therefore, capturing and maintaining their interest requires different strategies, especially in science teaching and biology, the focus of this work. Thus, it was decided to promote the learning of students of the 2nd grade of high school by having as facilitators the animation SpongeBob Square Pants, considering it as an element of the student’s daily life and endowed with emotional appeal and, based on this premise, develop an investigative didactic sequence.
