From the wasp house to the hive: feminist and feminine scenic writings in contemporary theater.
Stage writing, scenic writing, feminine writing, contemporary dramaturgy, feminism, group theater.
The research focuses on investigating the activity of female scenic writing and more precisely on stage writing as a subversive and empowering tool in contemporary theater. The work seeks to analyze both my work as a scenic writer in the theater company Setor de Áreas Isoladas, from Brasília, where I recognize and problematize issues related to gender asymmetry and oppression within this collective, as well as the work of feminist scenic writers of relevance to contemporary theater such as Angélica Liddell, Janaína Leite and Grace Passô.
